The Secret to Losing Weight Now!

An estimated 160 million Americans are overweight or obese.  Being overweight is a growing problem in the United States.

It is an issue that affects people of all ages and incomes. Specifically today, let’s address how being overweight affects women, and what they can do to fight back!

For many women being beautiful means having the perfect body. That includes not being fat, but instead being thin.

Not becoming the “fat girl” especially during high school years is often the beginning of years of fighting the battle of weight gain and living in the desperation of trying to keep the weight off consistently.

Getting up in the morning and finding something to wear that is comfortable, flattering, and in style, can be a huge issue for any female who is fighting being overweight.

It is emotionally traumatizing when your clothes don’t fit you. Have you ever looked in the mirror and told yourself that you hate what you see?

There is someone in my life that I love and care deeply for who is fighting a constant battle with weight fluctuation.

She is active, and defends herself regularly telling me she is doing everything in her power to lose weight. She goes to the gym and works out, and does her best to eat healthily and in small portions.

Unfortunately, something in her plan is not working. She is gaining weight, and not losing the pounds she wants to let go of so badly.

What can you do for someone who thinks they are taking all of the right steps to make a difference in being the best physical version of themselves, but they are not succeeding?

  • Start by gaining control of your life. When your world seems at its worst, and you think nothing will ever change, think again.

It is time to apply a number of self-determination skills to initiate some valuable changes in your life and how you live it. Your self-determination is based on several beliefs: You can always do more and you can always do better.

  • By believing in YOU and setting goals to accomplish a positive result, you have already picked yourself up and started the process.

Losing weight is no picnic! It takes courage and it takes an “I can do this” attitude.

It takes time to put on the weight. Now you must be patient and remind yourself to believe it is possible, that the weight will come off.

  • Never stop caring about who you are and what you want. Your goals are important and you will achieve them by taking yours goals one day at a time.

Your success is taking the smallest step toward better health. With self-determination, you are in charge and YOU decide what YOU are going to do with your life.

By acting on your decision, you make the choice of what is possible to become  the very best version of yourself.

It is a wonderful feeling to achieve your goals on your terms and at your pace.

During a weight loss program, recognize that you will have to be flexible, persistent, and you’ll have to work hard.

There will be days where you will want to throw in the towel and give up. Instead, turn to others who will be there to support you along the way.

Visualize the end and keep that vision front and center. Be patient with yourself, and stick with it.

The end result will give you more positive energy and the joy of feeling healthier and happier, for a better life!
